Day Thirty Three - Sat 1st of Oct

This morning we took our time getting ready. I really wanted a photo of the girls snuggling in the bed but didn't realise the flash would go off. Poor things. We had a nice complimentary breakfast and then headed off to the Conference centre to get our tickets for conference. It was beautiful walking through Temple Square listening to conference sessions being broadcast and seeing other members sitting and listening. Leah didn't like seeing the protesters. She didn't understand why people would want to be nasty to us as we were good people.

Lucy loved playing on the hotel phone. We had to unplug it from the wall.

I had a go at braided Leah's hair. When we stayed with Bec Grinceri, Leah loved how Bec did her hair and she wanted me to give it a go.
After we got our tickets for conference and did a bit of shopping Ward dropped Leah and I off at my brother Matthew's hair salon. Matthew is a hair dresser and is really really good. He said he would do mine and Leah's hair. He put foils in my hair and some in Leah's. I love my hair now. Mum then met us at the salon with Lucy as Ward, Dad, Grandpa and Scott went to the Priesthood session of conference. After Matthew finished our hair , he and Lucy went to an amusement park called Lagoon. Mum and I drove Lily his dog home and then went out for dinner to Marie Callendars. It was great to catch up and have a nice night out.

Leah's hair cut

We all then met back at the hotel. It was great to see Grandpa. He hadn't really changed at all, still has funny and sweet as ever. Leah had a great time at Lagoon with Matthew. She even went on a roller coaster.
