Day 136 - Thurs 12th of Jan

Awesome day today. We had the magic morning which meant we got to go to the park an hour before it opened. It was awesome because there weren't as many people there so we got to go on a heap of rides. The rides we went on today were; Snow White, Mr Toad's, Pinnochio, Dumbo, Storybook boats, It's a Small World, Tea Cups, Ariel's Under the Sea 3 times, Autopia and Bug's Life land which was cool. We had such a great day. We ended up staying at the Parks all day. Lucy ended up sleeping for about an hour in her pram. Leah also got to see alot of the characters and got there autographs. We got to the park at 8:45am and left at 7:15pm. We were so tired by the time we got back to the hotel. Lucy loved the Ariel ride, Bug's Life, Dumbo and her all time favourit is the Carousel or the 'Neighs' as Lucy calls it. Leah loves the Tea Cups and we love going on Dumbo high together. I think as a family 'It's a Small World' is our favourite.

Day 135 - Weds 11th of Jan

UNIVERSAL STUDIOS
We went to Universal Studios today. Ward was really looking foward to this as he remembers it was one of his favourite places when he same to the USA with his family as a kid. Not long past the entry gates we saw 'Boots' - Dora. Lucy couldn't believe it. She absolutely loved her. Lucy walked right up and gave her a big hug for the longest time. We ended up seeing Dora another 2 times during the day.

We saw Lucy from 'I love Lucy' she is my favourite.

Lucy loved wearing the 4D glasses for the Shrek 4D show. It was an awesome show.
Ward and Leah at the Simpsons Kwik-e Mart.

There was a Paris set you could walk through. Leah loved it.

While Ward went on the Simpson's ride the girls and I played on the Curious George playground. They had so much fun and I loved watching them love playing with each other.

There is a whole shopping district as you leave Universal. Leah still had some of her hard earned money she had earnt from delivery papers and so she bought herself a fossil bag. Leah was so happy. It was a great day - so so much fun. Can't wait for Disneyland tomorrow!!

Day 134 - Tues 10th of Jan

We got to the airport early as Scott had to go to work early. It was sad to say goodbye to Scott. We had a really good time with them and it was so nice to finish off our time with them. The flight went by okay. Lucy decided to fall asleep just before we landed but that was okay cause at least she slept while we tried to get our bags and a shuttle. Luckily the hotel let us check in early so we settled in, had showers and got ready to go over to Disneyland. We were all so excited.

Lucy looked a bit in shock or/and just taking it all in. We went on the tea cups, Alice in Wonderland, Mr Toad's wild ride, Small World, Pirate's of the Caribbean, Dumbo and the Carousel. The nieghs or Carousel was Lucy's favourite by far. We stayed at the park till about 6:30pm we were all pretty tired. It had been a fun but tiring day.

Day 133 - Mon 9th of Jan

Today was our last day in Salt Lake City. Tamara let us borrow her car and we went into Salt Lake City the day. We went in and picked Ward first from the Grinceris. He had gone home with Paul from the airport. We went into Welfare Square first to see how the Church helps people around the world. We then went into Temple Square to have one last look around and to have lunch at the Joseph Smith Memorial Building.
Lucy wasn't willing to pose.
Outside the Salt Lake Temple.

Outside the front doors.
It was so pretty to see the snow around the Temple.

In the Garden Restaurant at the Joseph Smith Memorial Building.

I love this photo of Leah and I.

Lucy looking at the birds at the top of the building.

After we got home and Kaitlyn got home from school, Ward and I took all the girls out to Walmart to pick up a few more things to take home. It was an interesting experience to go shopping with 4 children. We then picked up pizza for dinner and Matthew came out to say goodbye. It was nice to see him again before we left. Then we got packing , we had to be ready cause we were leaving early in the morning for the airport. It was sad to say goodbye to the girls and Tamara as we weren't going to be seeing them in the morning.
