Day Twenty Six - Sat 24th of Sept

Leah and I started the day by going to a Mother Daughter activity at church. It was a breakfast where you had to where your PJs. We got to meet more Mums and daughters from the ward we go to at church. After we all drove down to Seattle to stay with Aunty Debbie and see Mum. Aunty Debbie has been so helpful and it is great having her so close by. Aunty Debbie looks after a family and they gave her some clothes for Lucy. She had 2 BIG bags of clothes with jackets, snow gear as well and 2 dress up outfits. Lucy wouldn't put them on for me but when Leah got her to she did it.

That afternoon Luke, Naomi and Manly came up to Debbie's house and we all piled into 2 cars and went out to see a bit of Seattle. It was great to ride in the same car as Luke and Naomi and catch up and have a good laugh. The photo above is of a floating bridge.
If you look at this photo closely to the left the sign the homeless man is holding up is 'Karma for Sale' it cracked us up.
We went to a great park at the old gas works. It has a great view of Seattle.

This is the troll that is under one of the bridges in Seattle.

For dinner we had Cuban pulled pork sandwiches. It is at a little shop where people eat outside, a bit like Alfred's Kitchen. Yummo!!
At the end of the night we stopped at a shop and Lucy and Manly shared at ride in shopping trolley. Lucy thinks Manly is the 'bees knees'.
