Day One - Tues 30th August

Today was the day. We were off for our 140 days of fun. Mum Harris and Dad drove us out to the airport. We were all excited but also a bit nervous. Dad stayed and waited with us till we left. We were so grateful for his help. It was really sad to say goodbye to Dad. As we waited outside to board we could see Dad from the window waving. We all had our own seats. Leah, Lucy and I were in the same row. It wasn't a bad flight to Sydney, Leah was awesome and really helpful with Lucy especially when Lucy threw up - gross!

We managed to get off the flight, last of course and collect all of our luggage. We caught a taxi to our hotel, the cheap and cheerful Formulae One hotel. We walked and got some dinner from McDonalds and also some Krispy Kremes for later - yummy! Leah slept in the top bunk and we all tried to get some sleep. I don't think anyone slept very well especially Lucy.
