Today was a settling in day. We woke up and slowly got ourselves ready for the day. First stop was Leah's new school. We needed to enrol her and she would be starting Tuesday. The people were so friendly and said they had been waiting for us to come.
Leah was able to meet her Teacher and see her classroom. They had her
desk ready and all her supplies on her desk. The kids were looking forward to her coming. We then went and signed up at Costco where is was crazy busy. It was a bit overwhelming actually. I forgot we actually went to Walmart first which was the yuckiest Walmart I had ever been in but we were able
supplies we needed for the house. We were glad that we were able to rent a fully furnished place but we needed the basics like toilet paper etc.
We then went home to arrange our house better
and get settled. Lucy was able to
have a better rest in h
er cot rather than in her car seat. That afte
rnoon we went and got some groceries for dinner. It was so nice to sit down to a family meal. After dinner for Family Home Evening we went exploring around the nature trails behind where we live. It is really nice and pretty. Leah loved exploring the trails and Lucy loved following after her.
