Today I went on a picnic with 2 of the other Mums that I met at the Mothers group on Weds. It was great to get message the night before to be invited. Their names are Jessica and Kim. Jessica has a son named Josiah and Kim has a son named Casper. Jessica has moved here from being overseas teaching English in China with her husband and Kim has lived here for 2 years. Both really nice and I had a great time getting to know them better. We went to the Whatcom Falls park. The weather turned out to be beautiful today about 26 degrees which Kim said was unusual for this time of year. The kids played and then we went and fed the ducks.
This squirrel was very brave. He must be very used to humans because the squirrels around where we live freeze when we see them but not his guy. He came right up to the picnic blanket where I was sitting and near took the muesli bar right out of Casper's hand.
Lucy was so tired when we got home. She couldn't even keep her eyes open.
Later in the afternoon we went down to the clubhouse for a swim. The pool actually closes in about a week so it was great to get good weather to be able to use it. Ward and Leah jumped in the spa after too. It was so beautiful another time I felt very blessed.
We are getting ready to go down and visit with Aunty Debbie and Luke and Naomi and Mum is there too. I go the suitcase out and Lucy loved climbing in and out.
Leah was doing her homework on the floor. She gets alot more homework than at Tapping which I don't think she minds and is very good at staying on top of it. Of course Lucy couldn't resist climbing on and helping her out.
