Day 132 - Sun 8th of Jan

After church today we Tamara and I started cooking, getting ready for a family dinner tonight. Matthew, David and his family were coming too. I was really looking forward to hanging out with my brothers. Tamara and I made a roast and I showed Tamara how to make Nana's chocolate mousse for Scott. It was a great dinner and loved seeing Matthew and David again.

Day 131 - Sat 7th of Jan

It snowed today. It was so pretty when I looked out the window. We loved going out and playing in it. Leah loved having a snowball fight with Uncle Scott.

We then went into the City and met Uncle Matthew and Leah got her hair cut. Leah loves spending time with Uncle Matthew. We also went to Build a Bear for Kaitlyn and had dinner at the Noodle Company. Great night.

Day 130 - Fri 6th of Jan

Today we went into Tooele to close some bank accounts and Ward went to the DI to look for some clothes. The man who helped us at the bank was funny, he kept asking heaps of questions about Australia.

In the afternoon we went into Costco to cancel our cards and get some money back and then we met the Grinceris and Scott at an Italian restaurant. It was really yum. It was great to catch up with the Grinceris again.

Scott then dropped Ward and Paul off at the airport as they were going on their boys weekend to Las Vegas.

Day 129 - Thurs 5th of Jan

Leah and I took Scott into work today and he let us take his car into the city. It was so nice to spend some time together and not have the distraction from Lucy. We started by having breakfast in the Joseph Smith Memorial cafe. We could see the Salt Lake Temple right outside the window. We then went and looked around the Visitors Centre while we waited to view the movie about Joseph Smith. The moving was really interesting and quite moving. We then went over the the Church Museum. Leah and I both have a love for history and we got to really have a good look at all the artifacts. We then got to have a good look around Deseret Book.

Leah and I were really proud that we managed to find our way back to Scott's work.

We had such a great day together and day I hope to always remember. I loved spending the day with Leah.

Day 128 - Weds 4th of Jan

Tamara offered to watch the girls for Ward and I today so we could go into the city and spend time at the Temple. It was a great day to spend time just with each other. We haven't had that much time with just each other since we came.

Day 127 - Tues 3rd of Jan

Today we went back to the Deseret Industries to see if we could find any second hand suitcases. We managed to find Leah a small good quality back pack. That afternoon we went through all of our clothes to try and make sure we had enough room for other things.

In the evening Leah and Ward went back to the their second NBA game. Leah loved watching the games.

Day 126 - Mon 2nd of Jan

Scott had the day off today. We all went into Tooele and had a look around the Walmart and then hung out together. It is really nice spending time seeing the kids enjoying each others company. Kaitlyn is really into the show Cake Boss and loves making things with playdough. She is such a fun kid.

In the evening Ward, Leah and Scott went to a Utah Jazz game. They ended up being able to sit close to the game for the first quarter. They game home really buzzed from the game.
